1-on-1 Beekeeping Lessons
$225 / 3 hour intensive
Great for those who are just starting out and/or wanting a personalized crash course in how to keep bees! I provide a tailored experience based on your specific goals, and deep dive into the most important details, tricks, and lessons I’ve learned from the bees over my years as a professional beekeeper. 1-on-1 lessons can happen at your hives (with a travel fee) or at my apiary in far west Asheville. Full Hive Service
$600 startup + monthly service fee
This is the perfect option for those wanting to host bees on their land, but who are not ready for (or interested in) the full commitment of caring for their own hives. I provide a turnkey service in which I will install an established hive on your property and care for it all year long, performing bi-weekly inspections, feedings, treatments, and honey harvest when the time comes.
The honey your hive produces will be returned to you in jars and will have a distinctive flavor based on what nectar-bearing flowers are blooming around you. Experience the magic of tasting your property’s unique flora suspended in golden liquid - no sticky mess required (for you)!
Hive Consultations
$75/hour + travel fee
This service is geared toward those who already have honeybees in their care and are looking for a little extra guidance, assistance, or advice. Maybe your bees are exhibiting a strange behavior, or the queen doesn’t seem to be laying properly? Perhaps you need a little help checking and treating for mites, or making sure your girls are set up to survive the winter? I will perform a full hive inspection, diagnose any issues, and provide you with a detailed hive management plan.
